Celebrate Surrey Day with a Hike around Dorking
Itinerary
Start:
Meet us on the South side of St Martins Church (RH4 1DW) in Dorking at 9:00.
Finish:
We will be back in Dorking between 2:00-3:00.
Walk Level:
This is a moderate to difficult 9-10 mile walk as there will be some steep climbs and descents on our walk; including: Box Hill and Denbies Wine Estate.
Equipment:
You will need sturdy footwear and a water bottle. Some parts of the walk can get muddy and slick. It is suggested that you bring a snack along to tide you over until we get back to Dorking where we can have a late lunch.
Dogs:
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
Children:
9-10 miles makes this walk unsuitable for young children. Participants must be 14 and older. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Travel:
It is a 15 minute walk from Dorking Main Station and there is a car park just North of St Martins at the end of Mill Ln.
