What tickles your fancy?

A walking tour of Dorking, or do you fancy an underground tour of the Dorking Caves? If you are a bit more adventurous, there is always the Deepdene Trail.

The Dorking Museum offers group tours highlighting Dorking landmarks in an easy 90 minutes. Highlights include historical sites, figures and a visit to Laurence Olivier’s birthplace and the only remaining Pilgrim ancestral home in the UK.

The Museum also offers a “Words and Music” walk featuring Dorking’s connections to notable writers, historians, and naturalists such as Charles Dickens, Daniel Defoe, Henry Longfellow, Jane Austen, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Charles Darwin – to name but a few. They also offer the “Pubs of Dorking” tour and a walk specifically for children and families.
