Key findings

• Footfall has now been up year-on-year for 8 of the 9 months since the free parking policy was adopted, with January 2021 being the one exception
• October 2021 registered the second highest percentage footfall between the free parking period (23.0%) for all months so far in 2021, only surpassed by September (24.7%)
• We would expect year-on-year increases in percentage footfall during the free parking period to continue throughout the remainder of 2021
