Talbot House Antiques is home to four floors of fantastic antiques – all located in an incredible 17th Century Grade II Listed Town House with a Georgian facade. Talbot House has been displaying Art and Antiques for the last 40 years.

Perfectly situated midway along West Street, Dorking – an Internationally renowned focus for Antiques in the UK – the Centre spans over four floors.

Visitors can enjoy open fireplaces, extensive glass frontage onto the street with plenty of natural light to better view the art, furniture, and treasures, and the second-floor gallery’s exposed oak joists and beams. Although the building’s expansive rooms are especially suited to the display of furniture, Talbot House’s policy is to encourage a wide selection of specialists and general dealers catering for all our visitors’ needs. A variety of stunning showcases are available on all floors of the centre.

Talbot House is renowned for its customer service, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff and expert dealers with a long tradition of quality antique trading and experts in their fields – the finest antiques to suit customers' spend – stocking something for everyone.

Visitors are always pleased to find:

Superb period furniture, hundreds of smaller items such at pottery and ceramics, exquisite Lalique glass, antique, vintage and modern jewellery, and a huge display of antique silver unequaled for miles around.

A glorious range of oriental carpets, runners, chenille rugs, and glorious throws; some fantastic mirrors and table lamps; a large selection of vintage telephones; pens and writing implements, boxes and writing slopes, beautiful dinner services, and silver cutlery; and superb dining tables and sets of chairs.

Recently some new dealers have joined the centre, displaying militaria from various periods, European-designed clothing, scarves, handbags and accessories, and fascinating French brocante items, and distressed–painted country furniture.

Talbot House also boasts a superb home design gallery on the second floor, showing fabulous modern paintings, sculptures, and studio pottery.

An unbeatable shopping experience awaits visitors at Talbot House Antique Centre.
