Welcome to Dorking's Summer Safari Trail!

This Summer Safari trail is a fun and educational experience where our participants can scan a QR code on a poster displayed in business windows to reveal answers to African wildlife-themed questions. The answers will then appear on their phones. Participants will also collect letters to form a simple, themed anagram. By submitting the anagram/answer via the LoyalFree app, participants will have an additional chance to win in our local prize draw.

The trail will run between the 11th and 28th of August.

The Summer Safari trail will feature a number of locations within the high street. Each location will host a poster with an educational question about African wildlife. As participants journey along the trail, they can use their smartphones to scan the QR codes on each poster and unveil the answers to deepen their knowledge of Africa's creatures.

Intrepid explorers will scan a QR code, revealing an answer will automatically be entered into a thrilling prize draw, with an opportunity to win one of these prizes:

This free trail is a fantastic opportunity to get families out and about this summer while getting children excited about learning and starting conversations about wildlife in other countries.

The LoyalFree app can be downloaded using this link or by searching for ‘LoyalFree’ in your app store.

The DorKing Coronation art trail was live for two weeks, providing people with an opportunity to enjoy and experience Dorking at their own pace.

People were encouraged to visit each location to view the beautiful art work by Samantha Temple Milnes and visit the shops and surrounding area. There, they are encouraged to scan the Dorking @loyalfreeapp QR codes. Scan 10 QR codes and they would be entered into a prize draw to receive a Royal hamper from Waitrose. Scan ALL QR codes and be entered into a prize draw to win the Grand Prize King’s Coronation hamper from Waitrose and Partners. We've contacted the winners and will announce them soon.
