The Rose Hill area has a distinct look, feel and conservation significance to the local community. It is one of the larger protected sites in the area, and at its heart is the grassed central enclosure that is used for grazing sheep. Often characterized in local art and crafts, the sheep – along with the picturesque historic buildings that surround the plot – are a recognized part of the local landscape.
This lovely print of the Rose Hill Sheep can be purchased from Calliope Gifts on St. Martin’s Walk.
