LoyalFree Report – July 2020
LoyalFree charity scheme
As you know, LoyalFree donates 1p to charity every time a loyalty stamp is collected on the app and as you may have seen across our social media, Dorking Minds are the charity we are currently supporting. Dorking Minds is a wonderful charity that aims to help people in the Dorking area take control of their community’s mental health by providing subsidised courses and support.
Due to our national expansion, we have now decided to support national organisations which will bring benefits to all areas. We believe this will also make it easier for communication around the scheme and allow all BIDs and businesses to promote it more easily. From October until the end of December 2020, we will be supporting the NSPCC as they continue to deal with increased demands on their services during Covid-19.
In app banner
The new app release now allows website links through the in app banner. This will allow you to promote events, trails or other BID campaigns with a prominent presence on the app and you can direct app users to other sites and information. If you would like to amend your banner, please email .
Payment options within the app
App users are now able to pay for items from within the app using contactless services on their phone. Apple and Google pay can be used from within the app making a quicker and more seamless customer journey.
Eat Out to Help Out campaign
We sent out an email last week offering to help build an Eat Out to Help Out Trail, showcasing which businesses are participating in the government’s new scheme in your area. If this is something you would be interested in, please let us know and we will be happy to build this for you if you can provide a list of participating businesses near you. If you have created an Eat Out to Help Out trail, you can now find a high resolution promotional image on the LoyalFree Gallery that you can share across press and social media.
Window clings
LoyalFree has new window clings! Over time we have tested various designs and ideas for these and have created our new design based on feedback and tracking. Please see the design attached to this email. This marketing tool can help boost awareness of the app within your area if used by your businesses. If you would like a batch for your area and have not yet spoken to us about ordering some, please let me know.
Marketplace
There are now over 50 businesses on the LoyalFree Marketplace across 12 towns and cities resulting in over 3000 product views! Now that restrictions are loosening, we have introduced a new click and collect service. Businesses can choose to offer a local collection service to orders on their online store, as well as the standard option for delivery of products and vouchers.
